Landscaping is critical to the success of an outdoor play area. Providing a well-organized environment with a full range of activities for children of different ages is both exciting and challenging! In this workshop you will learn basic design principles for creating an outdoor learning environment for children and see examples of wonderful outdoor spaces for children. Now is a great time to start planning for improvements and upgrades in your program, and during this workshop you will have an opportunity to actually practice some playground design. Treasure Valley AEYC represents a diverse group of around 145 early childhood professionals in southwest Idaho. The Board meets on alternating morning and evening meeting times on the second Thursday of the month. In odd number months, the meetings are at 7:30 AM.
