Week of the Young Child is April 13-19, 2008. Our annual Professional Recognition Event and Change for Children will both occur during that week.

The Treasure Valley Association for the Education of Young Children 2008 Early Childhood Professional Awards Nomination Form (PDF) and Nomination Poster (PDF) are listed on this page. Please print and distribute to all the folks that you know who might be interested in nominating someone for one of the four award categories; Family Child Care Provider, Early Childhood Teacher, Early Childhood Administrator/Director, and/or Early Childhood Advocate of the Year. Nominations will be accepted between January 4, 2008 and March 7, 2008. The selection process will be conducted and award recipients will be announced during the Week of the Young Children April 13 - 18, 2008 at the annual event. Watch for the date, time, and location of this exciting event.

Please pass this information on to other individuals (early childhood professionals, parents, and friends of child care providers) so the word can be spread about the nominations.
