Title
Early Learning Collaborative Project Director
Martin Balben, Headshot

Martin serves as the Director of Idaho AEYC’s early learning collaborative project. He’s responsible for the overall direction and management of Idaho’s Early Learning Collaborative project including coordinating and leading partners, fundraising, supervising members of the project team, overseeing implementation, financial and administrative oversight, and reporting of the project. He began his work in early education in 2016 after building experience as a conservation advocate with a focus on campaigns and elections.

Martin brings a unique combination of campaign management, strategic direction, public policy, and advocacy experience to our work. A graduate of Boise State University and growing up in Idaho has created professional and personal relationships across the state. His work is driven by the belief that Idahoans can put aside ideological differences and confront challenges together when we prioritize the needs of the working people in our communities.

Martin lives where he was raised; in Tetonia, Idaho, and enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends, skiing, BBQ’n, and enjoying Idaho’s great outdoors.
