Melissa is a Boise native who has worked in early childhood education for 20 years. She is the founder and Director of Vista Montessori School. Melissa holds a B.A. in Multidisciplinary Studies with a Minor in Sociology and a Master’s in Teaching in Early Childhood Intervention from Boise State University. She also holds an Idaho teaching certificate in early childhood and special education and a Montessori teaching certificate for children between the ages of 2.5 and 6 years of age from Caspari Montessori Institute. Melissa is currently a doctoral student and graduate assistant at Boise State University working towards an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Early Childhood and Special Education.
