Phyllis provides crucial support for the transition of all young children from early childhood settings to kindergarten by working with school districts, community schools, early childhood programs, early intervention services to develop inclusive statewide transition initiatives. Prior to working with Idaho AEYC, she has more than 23 years of experience in Head Start and Early Head Start, Phyllis dedicated her career to supporting children, families, and educators in building strong foundations for lifelong success.

Phyllis holds a Master of Science in Early Childhood Studies from Walden University and was honored with the Power of the Profession Award in 2023 from Idaho AEYC. She also served two terms on the Idaho AEYC Governing Board. Her lifelong commitment is rooted in a simple but powerful dream:  to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families and children, today and for generations to come.
