Tanner is a Portfolio Management Associate with the Riverstone Group at Morgan Stanley. A Boise-based finance professional, he is passionate about giving back to the community and supporting initiatives that strengthen outcomes for young children and the educators who serve them.

Before joining Morgan Stanley in 2023, Tanner developed a strong foundation in leadership, communication, and teamwork through roles at Micron Technology and during a nine-year tenure with the Boise State University and Auburn University football programs. He earned both his Bachelor's degree in Communication and his Master's degree in Athletic Leadership from Boise State University.

Tanner also serves on the Board of Directors for The Northwest Showdown, a Boise-based nonprofit that provides competitive opportunities for high school football teams throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Originally from Monmouth, Oregon, he has called Boise home for the past 13 years. Outside of work and board service, I enjoy golfing and spending time with his family—wife, Megan, and son, Henry.
